Looking at NCS Expert v4.0.1, i do not appear to have the expert and Revtors profiles, and everywhere i've looked so far online suggests these are not available in v4 of NCS Expert? I'm prepping to install a replacement column module to retrofit cruise control, and wanted to make sure i have everything set up ready to do the coding this weekend.
I’m going to show you how to setup a “coding” profile this is key to getting the actual programming correct, the profile will allow you to have the right permissions to code the modules.
1) Open NCS Expert (usually icon on your desktop)
2) Open up the ‘Expertmode’ profile.
NCS expert expert tick complete box. Tick the box “delete the old NCS expert” Click install. Double check that C: EDIABAS BIN has been added to the path string in enviromental variables. (Computer/System Settings/Adavanced System Settings/Environmental Variables” click edit check its there and exit without changing anything). Launch NCS Expert. Go to File - Load profil and select “Revtor’s NCS Expert Profile”, click OK. Select “VIN/ZCS/FA” then “ZCS/FA f. This will tell NCS Expert to attempt to read your VIN from your vehicle’s ECU so you don’t have to type it in. Select your chassis from the list and click OK.
3) Save as a new profile (Call it “coding” or something similar. ). Batman arkham city heart of ice.
4) Load the ‘godfather’ profile. Xpadder mac download.
5) Edit it (file –> edit. Password is repxet).
6) Make sure under button ‘Individualisierung’ all options are crossed.
7) Make sure under button ‘FSW/PSW’, that ‘from CVT’ is chosen, and that the bottom two boxes are crossed.
8) Finally, press ‘consistence check’ and check it works.
9) Then press okay

You should now have a “coding” profile. Well done! when ever you want to code/write to the cars modules use this one.
Please note: Be very careful when in this profile and using the software, as it will write your modules so dont go thinking you cant do any harm, as you can!- treat with respect
Some people don't have Revtor's profile when install NCS Expert, so can be downloaded from this tread.
It is whole compressed folder, and files after unpack must be copied to:
C:NCSEXPERPFL
After program start and choose Load Profile you will have also Revtor's profile to choose.
